Two NCAA Division I men's basketball programs, the North Dakota Fighting Hawks and the St. Thomas Tommies, meet in a regular-season game at the Lee & Penny Anderson Arena in Saint Paul, Minnesota. Hosted on the St. Thomas campus, the matchup adds a cross-state contest to the college basketball calendar. The on-campus venue provides a focal point for a midseason clash between two storied programs in the Twin Cities area.
